Pachycereus are a genus of columnar, perennial cacti, native to semi-desert areas of the USA and Mexico. This spectacular variety is considered by many one of the finest cactus crests which forms beautiful sculptured stems and is the largest cactus in the world. It is sought after and very prized by cacti collectors.

The plant prefers bright light. Allow the soil to dry out before watering and feed once a month from spring to autumn.
